I. Introduction:
The hydraulic-operated tank bottom sludge discharge valve, also known as the cover valve, is commonly used in sedimentation tanks of urban water plants and sewage treatment plants to discharge sludge at the bottom. The applicable medium for the sludge discharge valve is raw sewage, the temperature of the medium is generally required to be less than 50°C, and the working water depth is less than 10 meters. The sludge discharge valve is also used in water treatment plants to discharge sludge and wastewater from the tanks. This sludge discharge valve has an angle-type structure, and its internal nylon-reinforced rubber diaphragm enables long-term use. This type of valve consists of a valve body, a hydraulic cylinder, a piston, a valve stem, and a valve disc. The hydraulic cylinder is a hydraulic tool that uses liquid as power, and the piston and valve stem serve as the switch. The valve plate can be opened in just one minute. This valve must be equipped with a manual directional valve or a solenoid valve to remotely control the opening and closing of the sludge discharge valve. The valve features excellent sealing performance, flexible switching, convenient maintenance, and a long service life of up to more than five years. By using the directional valve to change the flow of fluid entering the upper or lower chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, the piston is driven to move, which in turn drives the valve plate to lift, opening or closing the valve to achieve fluid on-off. The JM742X diaphragm-type tank bottom sludge discharge valve is used for various tanks in water supply companies or other enterprises to remove sediment and silt.
